The food at the Norton
Friends & Farmers Market is locally grown and in season. It’s easy to
forget about seasonal eating when there are supermarkets in every
neighborhood featuring foods shipped in from around the world. But if
you want the freshest and tastiest food available, then keep it local!
Remember, when you shop at your neighborhood farmers market, you’re not
only supporting local food economies, but helping to build community,
too.

Join a CSA!
CSA stands for
Community-sustained Agriculture and is a system whereby shoppers
purchase a share of a farmer's yearly produce yield. Most farmers
pre-bag their CSA shares and members pick them up at the market each
week. As the growing seasons change, so does the content of your bag.
This can be a very exciting way to make sure you get the very freshest
produce without competing with the crowds at stalls or breaking any
speed limits on your way to the market. Follow the link on this website
to send us an email stating your interest in participating in a CSA. Be
sure to include your contact information!
